Dear Col. SIMCOE

Yesterday and part of the day before there was nothing but the picture of distress in every Countenance, but this Morning the Soldiers are Shouting the Father of the Rangers is alive-

In short, nothing Can exceed the joy which Appears in the countenance of Officer and Soldier-

and prayers for your Speedy recovery- but none can possibly be more Sincere than those I,
