As the detachmt. From the 1t Batt: N.J.V.s at the light house, cannot well be Spared, especially Since the flank companys of the 82d are ordered to join the army; I beg leave to propose, that the detacht. Now there of one Capt. 2 Sub: & 40 men, may be relieved by a like number from the 2 Battn. now on Long Island;
