Duke of Cumberland's Regiment
English Deserters

Head Quarters Wednesday 14th May 1783

The Commr. in Chief has so far pardoned several English deserters as to allow them to returne within these lines & to send them Home, but there Dishonor is not done away.

No Regt. here shall receive them nor shall they again serve with this army.

It is recommended to the Soldiers of every British & to the Soldiers of every British American Regiment to Kick all such Rascals out of their Quarters Should they have the Impudence to come in among them.
