Witness of behalf of John Twyne of Virginia

This is to Certify that I have Been acquainted with the Barer of this John TWINE for a number of years and know him to be a Sober Honest man and have Every reason to Beleave he was percessed of a Small House and Lott in Petersburg Virginia which By his Leaving that Country and Coming in to the British Forces he has Lost and Since which he has Served and was wounded under the Commd. of Lord ROWDEN [Rawdon] in South Carolina.

To what Knowledge I have of the above I hereto Set my hand.
