Prince of Wales' American Regiment
Surgeons' Report

Having examined the Body of Lawrence WHILEY Soldier in the Prince of Wales’s American Regiment, we are of Opinion, as no external Marks of Violence appeard, that he died of an Inflamation of his Lungs produced by Cold, Drunkeness and a Cure of Mercury he persisted in without the Advice of a Surgeon.
