In Justice to Capt. Richard HILL we whose names are hereunto Subscribed do Certify, not only from Information but our own knowledge, that he built the first framed house in this Town, that he has ever Set a Good example to the inhabitants, has treated the People who Came to explore the place with the Greatest friendship, and hospitality and has made it his Study to promote the Growth and wellfare of the Town, We therefore Recommend him as a Gentleman Worthy of Notice & Trust.
