The Memorial of Ensign Benjn. OGDEN of the late Royal Nova Scotia Volunteer Regiment

Respectfully Sheweth

That your memorialist wishes to take up his proportion of Land (agreeable to His Majesty’s Royal bounty) at St. John’s River, where his mother is now settled that he may have an oportunity of assisting her in the Settlement, as she had the misfortune to lose her Husband, who was killed an Officer in the Prince of Wales’s Regimt: at Carolina in the Year 1780.
