ALL GENTLEMEN, natives of NORTH-BRITAIN, who are emulous of that noble spirit of loyalty and attachment, which so eminently distinguishes their countrymen at home, on the present occasion, are hereby informed, that a CORPS, to be stiled, the


Is now raising, to be commanded by their countryman,

of the 55th regiment,

Aid de Camp to his Excellency Sir Henry CLINTON, K.B. &c. &c.

Those who wish to seize this favourable opportunity of doing honour to their native country, and manifesting their zeal and attachment to his Majesty's person and government, are desired to apply to Captain Alexander MacLEOD, at the Coffee-House, to Lieut. Donald MacBAIN, at M'Kenzie tavern, in Queen-Street, to Mr, MacDONALD, No. 9, corner of Peck's-slip, or at Captain SUTHERLAND's house, in King-street, near the main-guard, where they shall receive the usual bounty, be new cloathed, and enter into present pay, &c. &c.
