Witnesses for John Rose

In the Month of March last upon the March of the Army from Savannah Under the Command of Brigadier General PATTERSON, Major FERGUSON with his Corps was advanced in Order to procure Horses and provisions for the Army--

A Party was one Day Sent to the Plantations at Bee's Creek near Consawatchee Bridge from whence they drove in upwards of One Hundred Head of Cattle and Horses they also brought from thence a Quantity of Forrage, some live Hoggs, Bacon, Dry'd Beef, Poultry &c.

These Plantations afterwards appeared to belong to Mr. John ROSE- to Whom Major FERGUSON promised and did intend to give a Receipt for the Same--

since Major FERGUSONs Death Mr. ROSE applyed to us to certify the Same as being on the Spot and well remembering the Transaction--
