For each regiment listed below, you will find a representative sampling of the muster rolls that exist. We will periodically be rotating the rolls that are on-line, so please be sure to check back often.
The 18th Century terminology used in Loyalist muster rolls can sometimes be confusing. Terms like "on command" and "do" are no longer in common usage. Please consult the Glossary of Terms section of our site for the definitions of unfamiliar words or phrases.
Likewise, place names have frequently changed since the 18th Century. The Maps and Gazeteer area of our site includes a gazeteer of 18th Century place names to help you identify the locations appearing in the muster rolls and elsewhere throughout the site.
